From Automotive News “GM must change perception to halt decline, Rattner says General Motors must convince consumers that the quality of its vehicles has improved to stop a decline in U.S. market share and survive after bankruptcy, a senior Obama administration official said.
Steve Rattner, the head of the Treasury Department’s auto task force, said the quality of GM vehicles has improved, citing the Chevrolet Malibu as an example. But he added that consumers have to be made aware.”
There in lies the rub doesn’t it!?
Bunch of jackasses up on the hill think that by stating the obvious, things will change. This ain’t the election process. Don’t you think GM has been trying to do this for 10 plus years? Be interesting to see how the bitching of tax payers will put the ‘Gov-Ment under the microscope to make change. Heck, I’ll write my congressman. Maybe that will send a better message to new top “br-ass” then me and thousands of others never buying a GM product.
Dear Mr. Lutz, you want a new marketing campaign to change the perception of your car company? Call me. Seriously, I will make people stand up and cheer for GM… and no I don’t need hot chicks to do so. But I got your attention with one to read this article didn’t I?
