This month’s Road & Track had some Alfa features, the new 4C and a classic car review of the Giulietta which they was really favorable. I also learned that Larry Webster, Editor of R&T, was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. If you think you’re going to be “cool” about being on a show like that, take a read of Larry’s column. Cool is as cool does.
Anywho, started looking at Alfas this morning and like the second one over the first, but both are on the list.
“You are bidding on a 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Normale this car was sold originally in Vancouver British Columbia on March 1962 and has lived here ever since. It was originally white but has since been painted BRG. The car has all the common Alfa rust and will require sills; out riggers as well as misc. rust repairs the floors however look surprisingly solid. The car had a $6000 engine rebuild 7years ago however suffered a blown head gasket on its initial break-in and has sat ever since. It has been fitted with a latter 1750 on dual webbers.
The car is located 20 minutes North of Blaine Washington in Canada and included in the final price will be a flatbed car tow to the Canada USA Border. The car can be taken across the border by Bay View Towing located in White rock BC and A&A Brokers can take care of any importation documents required if you unable to import it yourself (at buyers expense) if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.”
