The wood boat is the Torpedo. Darn does it look. From the low cut speedster type windshield to the hugging curve of the tapered back end. It just looks gorgeous. I used to think an inboard motor was the way to go on old wood boats, hidden beneath strips of glossy mahogany. But I like seeing these upright towers that were designed to be featured. The polished metal boat has beautiful lines as well but is too much glorified fishing boat for my tastes. Still cool.
For sale on Northern Michigan’s Craigslist by the same owner. Maybe there’s a twofer deal in it. Torpedo. Feathercraft.
