From the ad… “Here is a 1967 Land Rover NADA (North American Dollar Area). This particular model is one of 811 imported into the U.S. and is highly sought after and very rare. I have owned this for over 10 years, during that time the restoration was started but never completed. It includes a new frame, suspension, bulkhead and “breakfast” or radiator headlight frame. The vehicle was last running in 1974 hence the low miles of 22,000. At the time the right rear axle broke and couldn’t be repaired because Land Rover pulled out of the U.S. market at the time, so parts became unavailable (the axle is still broken). It does include the original 6 cylinder engine which does need a rebuild. The vehicle has been in inside storage since 1974 and is a perfect candidate for restoration. It is very complete and also includes some new parts. Please note: the roof-rack and Jerry can holder are original and very rare. The truck is a rolling chassis, but it is a “basket case”.”
Groosh: No doubt those 22,000 miles were easy ones, what with a broken axle and all.
