1957 Chevy Corvette – $19900

What’s the catch at this price?  Has to be a scam. Hit “read more” for the email reply I received in its exact entirety asking about it.  Note: they did not reply from the Craigslist email system.  Sniff, sniff… smells not good.

My 1957 Corvette is still for sale for the asking price of $19,900.
As you’ve probably seen on my listing I decided to lower the price, to avoid wasting time with negotiations and find a buyer as soon as possible.

Now about the vette, fuel Injected Corvette Matching Numbers; this corvette is in superb condition with a great colour combination and 283 HP Engine; New white wall Tyres all round, very nice original hub caps, very nice clean boot area with rubber mat.

I’m currently signed up for a protection program and I would like to close the deal through them; it will allow you to inspect the vette before paying me. You will have a 3-5 day inspection period to decide whether you want to keep the vehicle or not before they release the funds to me. Even if you pick the vette or have it shipped payment must be submitted using their system, but I assume there is nothing wrong with that.
