“1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Rust free, solid florida vehicle. Vehicle runs and drives well. Needs interior work, needs lifter. Has new battery, and new power steering pump.
Also have 85 Wagoneer with good interior, blown motor, good parts vehicle.
6500 for both, will split.”
These things must drive like pigs on the road while soaking up all the slop fed from huge tanks with small hoses straight to their mouths. Still I want one. Or two. I love the deep blue color with bright work and roof rack. Station wagon on top, 4×4 business on the bottom.
I imagine myself lumbering down a two-track in relative comfort but without much authority. Or cruising to dinner and having a hard time deciding to valet or park it myself on the street. Will there be any appreciation from a valet? Probably not for another 20 years.
However, there is certainly a huge following of the Grand Wagoneer. Restored ones run in the $30Ks which makes me wonder what peeled back layers will reveal on these. Still I want one.
On Northern Michigan Craigslist but in Royal Oak.
