September 15, 2011 – Pretty cool, rare, longevity diesel engine, 5 spd but some rust showing up. Also, got to get it over from New Westminster, Canada but it shouldn’t be a problem since it’s over 25 years old.

It Has never failed me in the 4 years I have owned it and always gets looks, thumbs up and questions, even people taking photos on the freeway!
It has a factory Toyota 13B with a factory turbo I added to a diesel engine that starts easily and runs smoothly. Tons of torque, awesome on the street and off-road.
6” lift kit, shocks and springs, 33×12.5×15 Bridgstone Duler tires with at least 35% tread on them, 33” matching spare tire, with no ware at all still new no cracks ..
Front bull bar ready for a winch.
5-speed “H55F” manual transmission with compound low first gear. The Cruiser is a total animal off-road & is unstoppable in Low Range!
Factory rear limited slip differential …
Full floater rear axle.
24V electrical system, has a dual battery setup for extra juice and safety when out in the sticks.
Has High power converter from 24 V to 12 V that runs stereo and amp. Also other 12V acc if you want to hook up to it..
The Fiberglass Renforced Plastic top comes off to go convertible but I have never removed it. . It has been my daily driver . It has small dents, bumps and scratches on the body. Nothing major. See photos. Some rust on windshield frame and body, worst is in the A-pillar area around the bottom of the windshield frame. Floor pans, frame and sills, doors are all solid.
Fender Flares have been custom molded to the truck and the left side has some issues, the rest of the Cruiser is good..
The windshield is hinged and drops down.
I’ve put in new water hoses, new thermostat, new 4 core Toyota Rad, air cleaner and two new batteries.
On-the-fly electronic push button control from 2H to 4H (two-wheel drive to 4-wheel drive High range).
Engine idle is factory adjustable from inside the cabin via a knob.
Power steering, clutch, transmission, brakes, manual hubs, 4WD transfer case all work well. tachometer is not working.
rear window defroster that is not working..
Original carpet is in ok shape with original sound deadening layer underneath.
Alpine stereo with CD player and aux iPod input. Also has a power amplifier . Rear windows are tinted and slide open.
Solid rig, GREAT diesel fuel economy and is around 22mpg city, 27mpg highway, seats 4, plenty of room for family, gear, dogs, guns, expeditions, whatever you want to do, powerful turbo diesel engine runs strong, it’s a TOYOTA!!”
