My first new car out of college was a 1992 Isuzu Trooper. It was the first year for the rounded off style. The color: Light Antelope Metallic or gold to you and me. My Light Antelope Metallic Trooper and I galloped on many a fair maiden’s journey through hill and dale, rowing a 5 spd manual through a GM sourced V6 and automatic locking hubs. Ah, the sophistication of it all and a yearning to return to ones past plus two more years to the square style.

The truck is pushing 30 years old, so its not perfect, but I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it anywhere.
These old Isuzus are built like tanks, I hate to sell it, but after back surgery I need a car with an auto transmission.”
