I really love the old Jeeps especially something unique like this pickup. The fact that is powered by old fashioned Buick V8ness is a plus for me, cheap and available parts. The original blue was more of a teal as seen in the engine bay but I diggie on this color combo too. Probably needs a good hug to get it on the road again but shouldn’t be far from a driver in short order. Tough to tell how bad the rust might be.
On eBay in Goshen, Indiana with no reserve and bidding at $1,050. Originally this was posted at a starting bid of $1,975 but there were no takers which was surprising.
“Classic 1971 Jeep J4000 4×4 pickup with Buick “Dauntless” 350 V-8 and 3-speed manual transmission. Runs and drives, but needs a little TLC. Would make a neat restoration project or use as a plow truck. Comes with a uni-mount truck side mount for a Western snow plow. If you have questions please ask before bidding as the truck will be sold “as is” with no warranties or refunds. Also, I would recommend trailering the truck as it has not been on the road for the past 10 years. This vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early. Cash only please. Here is your chance to own a piece of Jeep history! “
